To our Prayer Partners 25/8/2007/66 2315hrs

Dear Prayer Partners,

What a luxury! A Saturday without having to wake up for any specific meeting, appointment or event… This has been a lovely Saturday to be with the family. It’s like a lull before the storm. True enough, a rainstorm just hit us. We’re in the rainy season. The children and Pat are little sick. God has been extremely good to us through a very busy period. Things are slowly settling back to normal. Then again, what is normal? We still need your prayers:

1. As we enter the rainy season in earnest, pray for the health of the family, David, ERC staff and students. As most travel on motorbikes, roads are now quite wet and slippery.
2. We are having a Gospel Outreach party at Cell group next Thursday, 30 August. Please pray for the right people God wants to bring. Students have been challenged to bring their non-Christian friends. May, one of the non-Christian students is in charge of food. Pray for her salvation. Nathaniel spoke on witnessing and evangelism last Thursday at cell group to prepare for the upcoming outreach.
3. Pray for Apple who is sick. She and David Cher are now running the ERC since Gade is now studying full-time. She was getting really tired till she was challenged to let the students help instead of running everything herself.
4. Pray for Gade who has now moved into Chiangmai Bible college to study full-time. He will be pastoring Lighthouse and still teaches Bible to students.
5. Pray for David who’s now getting a little homesick but he is doing well. Pray that God would grant him safety and an effective ministry here.
6. Pray for Angkhana who lost her husband a few days ago. John was a believer who only came back to the Lord recently. Pray for her salvation.
7. Pray for Top [2nd year theology student who received Christ last month]. He has improved in class but still has much personal growth to attain.
